He's not my is an interactive fiction game written in ChoiceScript. It's about discerning a relationship on the precipice of friendship.
Two friends(?), Ivory and Min, hang out as usual, except it doesn't go the usual way.
With this game, I wanted players to feel like their choices had consequences, despite the lack of divergence. Having a character remember all of your choices can be chilling, less so than another person holding you accountable, of course.
Concept art. This was part of my process of developing the main characters' (Min and Ivory) personalities and relationship. Visually identifying each character's quirk and dynamic is very important to me when developing their voice. I also made few comics depicting their first meeting and confrontations, especially the one in the game to figure out the mood and reactions each character would have.
